ASRC Fundraiser at Theory Bar
Story
Damo & Mick's Backyard Quiz is back for its third year at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2023. We're huge on the idea that everyone deserves a back yard, and we'd love to keep that dream alive for us all! To help with that, we're running a campaign to raise funds for the ASRC right through our run.
Three comedy shows at Theory Bar on Thursday 30 March are donating all or a portion of their ticket sales to the Centre and Theory itself is donating a $100 tab voucher to be raffled on the night.

You can book tickets to all three shows that night as a Laugh Pack and save 10% off the lot!
We'd love it if you came down to Theory next Thursday, settled in for the evening, had some laughs and helped us help out the ASRC. Get yourself a raffle ticket and win a bar tab or some other splendid prizes!
If you can't stay up that late on a Thursday night, we totally understand! We're facing the possiblilty of needing to have a little nap on stage ourselves. You can make a donation directly to our fund right here, right now instead!

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.
As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.
We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
